On August 24th, 2023, units from Leonardtown and surrounding departments, along with mutual aide jurisdictions responded to the area of Bayside Rd in Clements for a reported Aircraft into a field. First arriving units advised a single small civilian plane was upside down in the field with all passengers out. A198 responded along with RR19A to assist. Units obtained two refusals from the passengers and were released with no injuries. Units remained on scene for an extended period of time to assist with the investigation.
