At the March Business Meeting members were announced for the monthly squad members of the month. This month the following crew was selected. Captain Shannon Wince, EMT Taybor Grimes, and new member Hakan Kanat were selected. This Crew runs numerous duty shifts a month and is willing to always help out when needed!

Shannon Wince has been a member since January 2020. Since joining LVRS Shannon has obtained her EMT and EVOC certification. After obtaining those Shannon then went on to obtain her CPR Instructor Certificate and has also recently become an IV Technician for St. Mary's County. For the year 2023, Shannon was selected as a Captain. Shannon has been assisting with planning and instructing drills as well as helping out with new member orientation.

Taybor Grimes has been a member since July 2020. Since joining the department Taybor has obtained his EMT certification as well as EVOC. Taybor runs numerous duty nights as well and is always willing to help out when needed.

Hakan Kanat joined LVRS in February of 2023. Although Hakan has only been a member for a short period of time he has joined Shannon and Taybor's night crew. Hakan is CPR certified and has shown great help on calls. Thank you, Hakan and we look forward to watching you grow with our department!
