Yesterday evening, the St. Mary's County Commission for Women announced the winners of the Woman of Tomorrow and Woman of the Year for 2020.
It is our pleasure to announce that our very own Payton Parris was recognized as the Woman of Tomorrow.
We were pleased to sponsor three nominees this year, Payton, Carole Hofmann-Barlowe and Mykayla Hayden. We offer our congratulations to all three. All nominees are unique gifts to our community, and we are fortunate to have them as members of the Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad.
