Christmas on the Square/Annual Tree Lighting

On Friday November 27, 2009 Co 19 participated in the Christmas on the Square and Annual Tree Lighting. Although there was a chill in the air and alittle bit windy that didn't stop the citizens of St. Mary's County to come out and see Santa.
The main stage had a variety of entertainment including seasonal music, Christmas carols, a magic show, a puppet show, and costumed characters. Additional festivies on the Square included sleigh rides, train rides, fire truck rides, hay rides, horse and carriage rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, live nativity, face painting, and visits with Santa.
During the town festivities Co 19 responded to four calls in our first due area.
